Hamaron’s encounter at Shibuya Station
A man walking along the platform had an ear of corn on a leash. Hamaron had a question.
Before the story
Comedian Hamaron (浜ロン) recalls something he says he saw at Shibuya Station.
On the platform
Hamaron here. I was walking along the platform at Shibuya Station when I saw a man with a dog collar and leash. At the end of the leash was an ear of corn.
Seriously!
He left the platform and went through the ticket gates. Another man was waiting for him outside. This guy had a leash too—with a napa cabbage on the end.
Seriously!
As comedians, we couldn’t just leave that without asking. We played rock-paper-scissors, and I lost, so I went up and asked:
“Excuse me, why are you pulling that around?”
One of them said, “I’m not pulling it. I’m the one being pulled.”
Then the other one went, “Hmph. Mentally, that is.”
This really happened. It did.
I should’ve filmed it…
