Privacy

Ukeru is run by MediaBrest (株式会社メディアブレスト). This note covers the pages under owarai.ai/learn. The company’s full privacy policy (Japanese) also applies.

What we record

• Anonymous usage events, kept for up to 13 months: which page was opened; which scene was played, finished, saved or reported as having a mistake (by its scene id); what was typed into search; the answer to “how did you find Ukeru?” if you choose to answer; whether a link to owarai.ai was followed; the referring website’s domain; the country and the device type (phone or computer) as reported to our server.
• Our own records do not contain your name, email, IP address, an account or any identifier that links your visits together. We use no advertising scripts.
• owarai.ai also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless page-view and page-speed measurement run by our hosting provider, on these pages.

What stays on your device

The list of lines you saved, the scenes you have watched, the furigana setting and whether you answered the question are kept in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers them. That list itself is not sent to us (the anonymous events above are separate). Clear your browser’s site data to remove it.

Fonts

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of delivering the font files.
