Kasuga and the Morning Mirror
Rain kept getting in the way of a trip to the shower. Kasuga of Audrey recalls an episode from his old apartment.
Kasuga, from Audrey
Kasuga is a Japanese comedian and one half of the comedy duo Audrey. He recalls a time when his apartment had no bath. Here is how he tells it.
Did I dye my hair?
Toos! Kasuga from Audrey here!
So, back then I lived in an apartment without a bath. Whenever I decided I was going to wash, I had to go to a coin-operated shower a little way from home. And honestly, that was a bit of a hassle.
Especially on rainy days.
A huge hassle.
One rainy season, I went about four or five days without going to the shower.
Because it just kept raining.
Then, on the morning of day six, I looked in the mirror. The top of my head had gone white.
“Hang on. Did I dye my hair?”
“Did I happen to dye my hair last night?”
I took a really close look in the mirror. There was mold growing on my head.
I was so startled, I immediately took the clippers and shaved off just the moldy patch. Crisis averted…
Do take care, everyone.
