I used to ride a scooter. One day, while I was out on it, my stomach started hurting, so I stopped at a public restroom.
I was in a real hurry. I hurried through my business, hurried back onto the scooter and headed home.
And as I rode along, everyone was looking at me. People in taxis. Kindergarten kids at a crosswalk. Older people. Little kids. Everybody.
Given my line of work, I thought, “Oh, they recognize me. Maybe I’m getting famous!”
I was feeling pretty good about myself.
Then I caught my reflection as I rode past a glass-fronted building.
I took a closer look. There was about fifteen meters of toilet paper streaming out of my pants. I looked like the masked hero Kamen Rider.
The paper I’d used to wipe myself was still attached. Trailing from down by my feet. About fifteen meters of it…
