At the collection point

My bicycle had been removed from outside a station. This was the sixth or seventh time it had happened.

So, as usual, I went to the collection point beneath an elevated expressway.

I gave the attendant the date and approximate time it had been taken from outside Hatagaya Station. I wrote down my name and paid the fee.

'We only took one that day,' the attendant said. 'It'll be easy to find. I'll bring it over.'

I waited in the waiting room.

The attendant came back and asked, 'This one?'

It was a unicycle.

Apparently, unicycles get removed too.
